Creation of the backup, choosing the files, is a personal and
time consuming issue in which we take very seriously. Whether you are a
concerned consumer or a multi-million dollar organization, we understand the
sensitivity and the requirement for security for your files. This is why each
client will have its own locked area for their files, we NEVER make copies or
hold your files on a "community server". We guarantee that no one will
have access to your information under any circumstances.
As a standard, before any backup is created, we SCAN
FOR VIRI (Clean/Disinfect when required) so you start out with 100% clean
backups, why do we do this automatically? if (and when) you need to restore
your system you do not have to worry about a possibly misreable or
threatening past.
As an additional service request... We can clean
your file system(s): streamline and remove outdated or
unwanted programs & obsolete directories, review damaged files so
that your backups again are clean and efficient. regardless of which service

As we are creating the backup of your system, we take
notes so upon your request we can provide you with a more detailed report and
are able to advise you on how to make your system run better and assist you in
"making sense of it all". We know that files get "plopped" anywhere, but by
learning a few simple concepts you can compete with the pro's!
Backup Type Descriptions - Hardware not Included
Diskette Backups (outdated) are long lasting (very
old school, We have diskettes on file which are 15 years old and their integrity
is perfect). This is what we have been using for years and have yet to come upon
a glitch. Although they do take up space (in which we can provide for a nominal
fee). These backups are great for small home/businesses and for the worrysome
user. Easy to configure and maintain. Incremental Backups are available,
according to your specifications.
CD-ROM/DVD (640Mb - 10gb) backup service is
available and is recommended for those who have the desire to be able to access
their old information at any given time. This is a more "Live Backup" as opposed
to Tape and/or Diskettes which are "compressed files". You will have 100%
uncompressed access to read your old data, pictures, audio, video and important
documents. This is a major space saver (as opposed to diskettes) as you are able
to save up to 600 Megabytes (2GB for DVD) of information on a single CD/DVD.
Best of all, we can give you a copy so you can keep it in-house! (there's no
extra charge for the storage or copying)
Tape backups (20 - 60gb) are usually good for about
5-6 years before the tape itself starts to decay yet they are efficient and very
good for small systems (Personal PC's). Incremental Backup service is available,
by appointment.
Mirroring
(80gb+) This method is available for those who require running backups of their entire
system . Chiefly designed for Master Servers and Large File Servers. What is required from the
client is a matching or larger hard drive drive (in size). Once the drive is
acquired, then we will install and configure your system to utilize the drive and ensure
that if the primary drive fails, the mirrored drive would immediately take over.
